U.S. President Donald Trump said today, during a radio interview, that he believes Thursday, November 27, is an appropriate deadline for Ukraine to accept the American peace proposal aimed at ending the war with Russia.
“I’ve had a lot of deadlines, but if things are working well, you tend to extend the deadlines,” he told Fox News Radio. “But Thursday we think is an appropriate time.”
The U.S. proposal, recently delivered to President Volodymyr Zelensky, is intended to revive diplomatic efforts to bring the conflict to an end. According to previous statements from Kyiv, the plan will be discussed in upcoming conversations between the two leaders.
