President Ahmad al-Shar’a visited the Mariamite Cathedral in Old Damascus, where he met with Patriarch John X of Antioch at the Patriarchal Residence.
During the meeting, President al-Shar’a was briefed on the situation and well-being of the Christian community in Syria. The discussion reflected the shared commitment to strengthening national values and reinforcing unity among all citizens.
The visit highlighted the enduring spirit of coexistence and mutual respect that characterizes Syrian society, reaffirming the importance of solidarity between all religious and social components of the nation.
