According to the information sent today by the medical team that takes care of Archbishop Pimen, his general health condition has significantly improved, said the Romanian Patriarchate’s spokesperson on Tuesday.
‘Hospitalization and appropriate treatment are still required for a period that depends on the pace and evolution of the recovery process,’ spokesperson Vasile Banescu said.
Vasile Banescu expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the Patriarchate of Romania for the efforts made with devotion and professionalism by the medical staff and the management team of the Matei Bals Hospital in Bucharest.
Archbishop Pimen of Suceava and Radauti was admitted to the Matei Bals Hospital on Monday, April 20, after being tested positive with the new coronavirus.
