“Georgian Patriarchate welcomes all reasonable decisions to protect the health and safety of citizens”, Minister of Health of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze, announced after a meeting with Georgian Patriarch Ilia II on Thursday.
“Patriarchate has a strong position that they will not engage in active propaganda to promote the vaccination, but will support any reasonable decision made by the government,” Minister said as reported by 1tv.ge.
Minister Tikaradze informed the Patriarch in details about the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination process in the country.
