The Patriarchate of Bulgaria has issued a heartfelt appeal to all members of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church – Bulgarian Patriarchate, urging them to engage in diligent daily prayer to the All-Merciful God, the Source of Life and Mercy.
The call comes in response to the raging wildfires affecting Bulgaria, neighboring Balkan countries, and regions around the world.
The Patriarchate asks the faithful to pray for the swift extinguishing of the fires, to grant strength to firefighters, support to those affected, protection for the vulnerable, and the halting of the destructive flames.
