It called for unwavering trust in God’s mercy and guidance, urging all Syrians to remain steadfast in their love for their homeland and committed to safeguarding the dignity of their fellow citizens.
“As a Church deeply rooted in this great East,” the statement affirmed, “we continue our mission of serving humanity and fostering peace and harmony in a nation governed by the rule of law and democratic institutions.”
The Patriarchate appealed to all faithful and Syrian citizens, irrespective of ethnic, political, or religious affiliations, to:
