Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, after being informed of the repose in the Lord of the late Metropolitan of Kastoria, Seraphim, whom he particularly loved and appreciated, performed at the Patriarchal Temple, today, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, a Memorial Service for the repose of the soul of the blessed Metropolitan of Kastoria, surrounded by clergy of the Patriarchal Court.
Yesterday, Monday, December 28, 2020, the Ecumenical Patriarch went to the Cemetery of Chalcedon where he performed a Trisagion at the tomb of the late Metropolitan Meliton (Hatzi) of Chalcedon, who fell asleep in the Lord 31 years ago.
