The Patriarchal Exarch of Malta, Metropolitan Kyrillos of Krini, paid his first visit to Malta on March 25-29, 2021.
The Patriarchal Exarch was given the opportunity to meet with the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Malta, Charles Jude Scicluna, the President of the Republic of Malta, George William Vella, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, Evarist Bartolo, the Ambassador of Greece to Malta, Dimitrios Tsougkas, and the members of the Brotherhood of Saint George and of the Greek Community of Malta.
He was accompanied in these meetings by Archim. Nathaniel Felesakis, head of the Greek Orthodox Parish of Saint Nicholas in Malta.
The recognition of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Malta by the State of Malta was discussed in a cordial atmosphere.
