A Patriarchal coliturgy took place today during the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, presided by Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, and Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia.
Also present at the Divine Liturgy was Metropolitan Isaiah of Tamasos, who was in Jerusalem.
Patriarch Porfirije has been on an official pilgrimage visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem since Monday, March 31.
The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday afternoon, where he was greeted by Metropolitan Hesychius of Capitolia, together with Archimandrite Fr. Christodoulos, Abbot of the Holy Cross Monastery.
Later in the afternoon, he visited the Patriarch of Jerusalem, and the two Patriarchs exchanged gifts (engolpia). This was followed by a meal in honor of the Patriarch of Serbia.
