Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia sent words of archpastoral blessing and fraternal love to Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of his birthday.
“May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the intercessory prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the spiritual guidance of Saint Sergius of Radonezh be with you always, granting you good health, wisdom, strength, love, peace, and joy,” reads the Patriarch’s message.
In closing, the Patriarch thanked the President of the Russian Federation for his efforts in strengthening the centuries-old bonds between the two brotherly nations and sister churches.
