Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia received the newly ordained deacons of the Archdiocese of Belgrade–Karlovci on November 7, 2025, at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade.
In a warm and pastoral meeting, His Holiness congratulated the newly ordained clergymen on entering the first rank of holy orders, reminding them of the grace and responsibility that accompany service in the Church of Christ.
He encouraged them to dedicate their ministry to love, prayerful care, and zeal for the salvation of the faithful entrusted to them and for the flourishing of the Church of Saint Sava.
Patriarch Porfirije bestowed his blessing upon their future labors and presented each of them with certificates of ordination and liturgical service books.
Also in attendance were Protoiereus Djordje Stojisavljević, Chief of the Cabinet of the Serbian Patriarch, and Presbyter Bogoljub Ostojić, Secretary of the Church Court and the Episcopal Office.
