Serbian Patriarch Porfirije held a cordial meeting at the Patriarchal Court in Belgrade with Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, both members of the Serbian government currently serving in a caretaker capacity.
During their warm and constructive discussion, the participants emphasized the importance of preserving national unity. Patriarch Porfirije once again highlighted the urgent need for both inner peace and peace among people, stressing the vital role of continued fruitful cooperation between the Church and state institutions for the common good of all citizens.
The meeting reaffirmed the Serbian Orthodox Church’s commitment to contributing to the well-being of society, alongside the state, through open dialogue and collaboration.
