Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia held a working meeting at the Holy Church of Saint Sava in Vračar with President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia and Nikolai Mukhin, the artist responsible for the church’s iconographic decorations.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed regarding Mr. Mukhin’s artistic work thus far, and the decision was made to continue collaborating on creating mosaics for the remaining areas of the church.
The Patriarch emphasized that the state’s contribution and understanding of the significance of the church have been decisive for the project’s progress and completion.
