Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia sent a congratulatory message on 22 November 2025 to Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem on the anniversary of his enthronement on the Most Holy Throne of the Patriarchs of Jerusalem.
In his message, he praised Patriarch Theophilos’ longstanding service, writing: “Your tireless labor and zealous ministry to the much-suffering Church of Jerusalem are truly awe-inspiring, particularly in the way they continue to bear rich fruit. This reflects both your responsible guidance of the Church entrusted to you and your selfless love for all the God-loving children of the Lord, demonstrated throughout your decades of archpastoral service.”
He continued: “Relying on your holy prayers, we ask the Lord Sabaoth to grant you every true blessing—above all, health, strength, wisdom, and joy—so that you may continue, as you have until now, to shepherd with God-given wisdom and courage the flock entrusted to you, and through your personal witness of faith glorify His all-loving name for many blessed years.”
