On the evening of April 26, 2025, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia was seen off from Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow by Metropolitan Grigory of Voskresensk, Chief Administrator of the Moscow Patriarchate; his deputy, Bishop Siluan of Pavlovsky Posad; the Head of the Representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow, Bishop Stefan of Remesiana; Patriarch Kirill’s advisor, Protopresbyter Nikolai Balashov; Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, Protopresbyter Igor Yakimchuk; Head of the Protocol Service of the Department for External Church Relations, Hegumen Theophan; as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia, Momčilo Babić, and the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
The delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church accompanying the Patriarch during his visit to Moscow consisted of: Metropolitan Irinej of Bačka, Head of the Representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, Abbot of Kovilj Monastery Archimandrite Hariton, Chief of the Patriarch’s Cabinet Protopresbyter Đorđe Stojisavljević, Rector of Saint Sava Theological School in Belgrade Protodeacon Radomir Vrućinić, Protodeacon Radojica Žagran, Monk of Kovilj Monastery Archdeacon Justin, Deacon Ivan Vasiljević, and Subdeacons Dejan Nakić and Vladimir Jelić.
