Serbian Patriarch Porfirije presided over the regular session of the Diocesan Administrative Council of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci, held on April 30, 2025, at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade.
The meeting was preceded by the invocation of the Holy Spirit, a prayer service held in the Court Chapel of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-streaming. The service was officiated by Bishop Tikhon of Moravica, Vicar Bishop to the Patriarch, with the participation of Archimandrite Stefan, Abbot of the Slanci Monastery, Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Dr. Vladimir Vukašinović, Protodeacon Damjan Božić, and Deacon Nikola Masnikosa.
During the session, the council reviewed and adopted reports on the activities of various church bodies and institutions operating within the Archdiocese. Strategic plans for the upcoming period were also discussed, with particular emphasis on missionary outreach, educational initiatives, and charitable work.
Patriarch Porfirije stressed the importance of responsibility, collaboration, and zeal in serving the spiritual needs of the faithful and in promoting the growth and unity of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
