Patriarch Daniel of Romania sent a congratulatory letter to Archbishop Ioannis of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania on the occasion of his Name Day, celebrated on the feast of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist.
“Your Beatitude, with much joy in our Lord Jesus Christ, we would like to congratulate Your Beatitude on the occasion of the feast day of your spiritual protector, Saint John, the Apostle,” Patriarch Daniel wrote.
Extending greetings on behalf of the Romanian Orthodox Church, he added: “On behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy and faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church, we convey to you our wishes of good health, praying that our Saviour Jesus Christ may bestow upon Your Beatitude His abundant gifts.”
