On Sunday, Metropolitan Ioannis of Korçë was unanimously elected the new Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and all Albania by the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania. On this occasion, Patriarch Daniel sent a congratulatory message.
