Patriarch Daniel of Romania expressed deep sorrow upon hearing the news of the tragic event that took place on the premises of a school in Graz, Austria, where 10 people were killed and several dozen others injured.

Dear Reverend Father,
It is with great sadness that we have learned about the tragic event that took place at a secondary school in Graz in the morning of Tuesday, 10 June 2025, which caused the death of 10 people and injured several others.
In this time of sorrow for the people of Austria, we pray to the Most Compassionate God to grant eternal peace and love to the souls of those killed in this tragic event. We also pray for the swift healing of the wounded ones and comfort for the grieving families.
