Patriarch Daniel of Romania sent a message of congratulations to Patriarch Theophilos III on the 20th anniversary of his enthronement as Patriarch of Jerusalem.
“On behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy and the faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church, we express our deep appreciation for the fruitful pastoral, missionary, and spiritual work that you so diligently carry out for the good of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem,” Patriarch Daniel stated in his message.
Theophilos III was elected Patriarch of Jerusalem on 9/22 August 2005 and enthroned on 9/22 November 2005.

With fraternal love in Christ the Lord, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Your Beatitude on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of your enthronement as Patriarch of Jerusalem.
At the same time, on behalf of the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy and the faithful of the Romanian Orthodox Church, we express our deep appreciation for the fruitful pastoral, missionary, and spiritual work that you so diligently carry out for the good of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
