Patriarch Daniel of Romania cast his vote on Sunday in the local elections held to determine the next Mayor of Bucharest.
The Patriarch arrived at the polling station set up inside the “Ienăchiță Văcărescu” Gymnasium School at around 5:30 p.m., where he exercised his right — and civic duty — to vote.
On Sunday, 7 December, residents of Bucharest are choosing a new mayor following the election of former mayor Nicușor Dan as President of Romania.
