On May 14, 2026, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow presided over a regular session of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church at the Patriarchal and Synodal Residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow.
Opening the meeting, Patriarch Kirill addressed the members of the Holy Synod with a brief greeting before the session proceeded according to the established agenda.
The Synod gathered to discuss matters concerning the life and administration of the Russian Orthodox Church.
