A few days ago, the not recognized President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, had a telephone conversation with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow.
This became known from a short announcement that was released last Friday on the website of the Belarusian presidency.
In particular, the statement said that “the situation in Belarus and Russia was at the center of the discussion.
During the discussion, topics of inter-religious relations have been discussed. And of course, they also discussed the situation of the Church as a whole”.
