On Saturday, September 5, 2026, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem received the Ambassador of Greece to Jordan, Eirini Riga, accompanied by the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Dimitrios Angelosopoulos.
Patriarch Theophilos explained to the Ambassador the multifaceted work of the Patriarchate throughout its entire jurisdiction in Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Sinai and Qatar.
Subsequently, Patriarch Theophilos received a group of pilgrims from Serbia and blessed them. He also received the Priest-in-Charge of the Community of Tarshiha in the North, Fr Gregory, together with the members of the Community Council, whom he blessed and guided on matters concerning their parish life.
