On Tuesday, 3 February 2026, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, received Mr Yoav of the Israeli Police.
Thereafter, Patriarch of Jerusalem received large groups of pilgrims from Serbia and Romania, as well as His Eminence Archbishop Ioannis, accompanied by a group of nuns from Diveyevo, the place of ascetic struggle of Saint Seraphim of Sarov. To them, His Beatitude spoke of the redemptive work of Christ through the Cross and the Resurrection, as accomplished by the Church of Jerusalem through the power of the Empty Tomb.
Subsequently, Patriarch of Jerusalem, received Archimandrite Kyprianos, advisor to His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Romania.
He then received Archimandrite Niphon, Hegumen of the Holy Monastery of Saint Joseph and the Myrrh-bearers in Ramleh. Finally, Patriarch of Jerusalem paid a condolence visit to the children of the late Ioannis Azar.
