On Friday, 10 January 2026, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem received groups of faithful and representatives of local communities at the Patriarchate, on the occasion of the Christmas festive greetings.
Among those who visited the Patriarch were a group of forty pilgrims from Georgia accompanied by their priest, Archbishop Damaskinos of Joppa together with members of the Joppa parish, as well as Anan from Beit Sahour.
The Patriarch of Jerusalem also welcomed members of the Orthodox Club of Jerusalem, the former Mayor of the town of Beit Jala, Nikolaos Hamis, together with his family, as well as a large group of clergy and faithful led by Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth and Metropolitan Makarios of Accra.
During the meeting, all those present exchanged Christmas greetings, while the Patriarch offered his blessing to the visitors and wished them a blessed Twelve Days of Christmas.
