On Monday, 10th of November 2025, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos III, received:
The Acting Head of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem (MISSIA), Archimandrite Nikon, on the occasion of his transfer to Moscow for a new ministry after ten years of service here.
Within the context of this visit, the Patriarch praised Archimandrite Nikon for his cooperation with the Patriarchate, which greatly contributed to strengthening the relations between the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Patriarchate of Moscow. The Patriarch presented him with an Archimandrite’s pectoral cross and a commemorative medal struck on the occasion of the 1500th anniversary of the life and history of the Patriarchate, and wished him success in his new ministry in Moscow.
