On Friday afternoon, October 17, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem had a private meeting with Archbishop-elect Symeon of Sinai, Pharan and Raitho. During this cordial conversation, they recalled their youthful years as University students and exchanged thoughts regarding the forthcoming sacred events and all that will follow in these holy days.
Immediately after the meeting, His Beatitude hosted an official dinner at the Notre Dame Hotel in honour of the Archbishop-elect, the Hierarchs who accompanied Him, as well as the other members of His entourage, in the presence of the Consul General of Greece, in an atmosphere of spiritual joy and fraternal communion.
