On Friday, February 21, 2025, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos, received the conservator of icons and manuscripts of the Patriarchate, Mr Stavros Andreou, along with the nun Magdalene of the Russian Holy Monastery of St. Mary Magdalene, to continue their collaboration on the conservation of the precious and significant “Map of Madaba” for the Patriarchate.
Subsequently, His Beatitude was visited by the representative of the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem, Bishop Gurion, who came to seek His Beatitude’s opinion and support regarding the recent tax issue the Armenian Patriarchate faced in Jerusalem.
His Beatitude also received Mrs Maria Zozonaki, the representative of the European organisation EPLO – European Public Law Organization, for an interview on matters concerning the Patriarchate.
