At a meeting in the Synodal Palace, Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria received Minister of Interior Kalin Stoyanov.
Minister Stoyanov congratulated the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church on his election and expressed his gratitude for personally leading the prayer service on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the Ministry of Interior.
“It is important for us that with this gesture you have shown your appreciation for the work of the employees of the Ministry of Interior. I rely on your continued support to help us overcome difficulties, and your wisdom will guide us in our actions”, said Minister Stoyanov.
Patriarch Daniel noted that the Church is praying for the fire to be extinguished quickly.
At the end of the meeting, Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria wished Minister Stoyanov that St. Archangel Michael would help and protect all the employees of the Ministry of Interior and presented him with the Holy Bible, urging him to always read it for spiritual support in times of need.
