According to a recent social media post from the Patriarchate of Antioch, Patriarch John X will visit the Prophet Elias Church in Dwel’a, Damascus, at 6:00 PM today.
During his visit, the Patriarch will offer prayers for the repose of the souls of the martyrs, the healing of the wounded, and comfort for the grieving hearts affected by recent tragic events.
It is recalled that the suicide attack killed at least 22 people in Damascus on Sunday, according to the latest report from the de facto authorities, who blamed a member of the jihadist group Islamic State (IS) for carrying out the attack.
