Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East received the Saudi Ambassador to Syria, Faisal bin Saud Al-Majfel, heading a delegation from the embassy, at the Patriarchate in Damascus.
The Patriarch highlighted the historic relationship that has linked the Kingdom with the Antiochian Orthodox Church.
For his part, the ambassador emphasized the importance of coexistence and citizenship values in Syrian society.
