In a recent telephone conversation with Archbishop Anastasios of Albania, the Patriarch of Antioch emphasized the urgent need for the Church to speak out amid the world’s current turmoil.
“Today’s troubled world needs to hear from the Church a word of consolation and a cry of truth,” the Patriarch stated, acknowledging the deep conflicts and challenges facing society today.
During their discussion, the two leaders also reflected on the strong fraternal ties that unite their respective churches and the vital role the Church plays within their communities. They underscored the importance of the Church’s mission to provide spiritual guidance and support in these challenging times.
