Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East departed from Beirut Airport for Rome, leading a church delegation.
During the visit, the Patriarch will meet Pope Leo XIV and a group of decision-making cardinals within the Holy See.
The patriarchal delegation includes:
- Metropolitan Ignatios Al-Houshi (Western and Southern Europe)
- Metropolitan Antonios Al-Soury (Zahle and Baalbek)
Patriarch John X was seen off at the airport by the Minister of National Defense, Michel Menassa, representing President Joseph Aoun.
