Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria will be visiting the Archdiocese of America in October.
For this reason and in continuation to the August 5, 2022, communication concerning the convening of the 2nd Monastic Synaxis scheduled for October 12-14, 2022, at the Holy Monastery of the Life-giving Spring in Dunlap, CA, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America announced that due to the forthcoming official visit of the Patriarch of Alexandria, which coincides with the aforementioned dates, the 2nd Monastic Synaxis will now be held at the Holy Monastery of St. Anthony in Florence, AZ, the days of December 16-18, 2022, together with the three-year memorial of the late Elder Ephraim, founder of Orthodox Monasticism in America.
