On the morning of Friday, May 30, 2025, Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, had a telephone conversation with Damianos, Archbishop of Sinai, Pharan, and Raithu.
During the call, he was informed of the recent developments concerning the Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine and assured His Eminence that the ancient Patriarchate of Alexandria will always stand as a supporter and ally of the historic Monastery, the Archbishop, and the Brotherhood.
At the same time, he expressed his confidence in the political and governmental authorities of Egypt, a sentiment also affirmed by the official statement of the Presidency of the Republic.
