“16 years have passed and every year we look forward to this beautiful day of the cutting of the Vasilopita of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Alexandia”, pointed out Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, on Sunday, January 24, at the cutting of the vasilopita of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women (branch of Alexandria) that took place at the Monastery of Saint Savvas the Sanctified.
The Patriarch of Alexandria said also: “It does not matter if the New Year has passed. For a happy person, every day is full of optimism, full of joy, full of rejoice”.
Patriarch Theodore warmly thanked Aliki Antoniou, Chairperson of the Greek Ladies Lyceum of Alexandria and the entire Board of the historic association: “I would like to express the gratitude of the Patriarchate to the Lyceum Club of Greek Women because you always stand by our side.”
The Patriarch of Alexandria also made a wish for the new year 2021: “As Patriarch of love, as I am called, I would like to give many wishes. I feel that 2021 will be a blessed year”.
