Patriarch Kirill expressed deep gratitude for President Putin’s steadfast support of the Russian Orthodox Church and his firm stance on protecting traditional values: “I am very grateful to you for your unwavering attention to the service of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as for your firm position in defending traditional values.”
He conveyed his confidence in overcoming the challenges of our times through joint efforts and divine assistance: “I am convinced that, with joint efforts and God’s help, we will overcome all the challenges of our time and raise the younger generation in love for the Fatherland, which means ensuring true sovereignty and prosperity of Russia for years to come.”
