In particular, the new distance learning programs are part of the implementation of the Mandate “Developing Skills for Human Resources in Welfare Services: An Emphasis on the Structures of the Church” of the operational program “Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning.” The six subject areas are the following:
a) Parish as Cell of Local Development and Social Welfare Support;
b) Management of Family Life Problems;
c) Church Social Welfare Intervention in Marriage and Family Problems;
d) Church Welfare Support in Problems of Childhood and Adolescence;
e) Church Social Welfare Intervention in Problems of Mourning;
f) Issues of Prevention and Response to Domestic Violence.
University professors, clergy and lay members of the Metropolises from the Register of Instructors of IPE, specialized scientists and researchers will deliver the courses of the programmes that will take place during the 2020-2021 winter semester at 15.00-21.00. Upon the successful completion of the program, the trainees will receive a certificate while the clergymen and civil servants will be awarded promotion credit points.
