On Tuesday, the 28th of April 2026, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem accompanied by Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth, the Elder Chief Secretary Archbishop Aristarchos of Constantina, Metropolitan Makarios of Acre–Ptolemais, Archimandrite Christodoulos, Archdeacon Mark, and the priests Theodosios Makhoul, Fr Savvas Makhoul, Archimandrite Silouanos, Presbyter Elias, and Fr Issa Mousleh, undertook a pastoral visit to the north, to the region of Ptolemais–Acre, within the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate.
First, Patriarch Theophilos visited the leader of the Druze community in the village of Kafr Yasif, His Excellency Muafak Tarif, to convey greetings on the occasion of their feast.
Thereafter, Patriarch Theophilos visited Mr Fuad Sha’adeh in the town of Kafr Yasif to offer condolences on the repose in the Lord of members of his family. He then likewise visited, for the same purpose, in the community of Rameh, the regional prosecutor of Galilee, Mrs Hanin Simaan Muez, on the sudden death of her husband, the late Marwan Muez, in a fatal road accident.
Patriarch Theophilos also visited the retired priest Fr Georgios at his home, who for many years had served at the community of Rameh in the Acre region, accompanied by Fr Elias, now the parish priest of that community.
