Palm Sunday was solemnly celebrated at the Holy Cathedral of the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the Phanar.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Cathedral behind closed doors due to the measures against the coronavirus pandemic, accompanied only by the members of the Patriarchal Court.
In the afternoon, the Ecumenical Patriarch presided over the Service of the Bridegroom.
