On Saturday, March 28, 2026, with the blessing of Archbishop Sotirios of Canada, Deacon Innocent Chang, a graduate of our Theological Academy, was ordained to the Holy Priesthood as a Presbyter at the Archdiocesan Chapel of St. John the Theologian.
The ordaining bishop for the service was Bishop Athenagoras of Patara. Many priests from the Greater Toronto Area participated in the joyous celebration.
Father Innocent, who originates from Indonesia, was known as an excellent student during his studies at the Academy, and notably speaks the Greek language.
In attendance were Ms. Zoe Veroutis, President of the Archdiocesan Philoptochos Council of Canada, Mrs. Betty Skoutakis, President of the Greek Community of Toronto, as well as many devout Christians.
