Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ ordained Archbishop Savva (Tutunov) as Bishop of Zelenograd, on Sunday March 3, at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
Along with Patriarch Kirill, a host of Metropolitans of the Russian Church, as well as clerics of the Patriarchate of Moscow participated in a co-liturgy.
Patriarch Kirill, addressing to the new Bishop, urged him to always remember that he is a humble deacon.
He also referred to the administrative experience that he has gained through the important positions of the central services of the Patriarchate of Moscow he has been placed for many years.
Finally, the Patriarch of Moscow gave advice to the new Bishop, urging him to be close to the youth, and make his love an example to all.
