On December 5, the Funeral Services for the late Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira and Great Britain

The Funeral Services for the late former Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira and Great Britain will take place on December 5.

The Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain in a press release refers to the schedule of Funeral Services for the late Archbishop Gregorios.

As the community and faithful of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain and the greater community at large pray for the repose of the soul of the servant of God, Gregorios, Hierarch and Celebrant of the Sacred Mysteries of the Church, we wish to inform the people of God that services have been scheduled.

Tuesday, 3rd December 2019

2:00 pm – 9:00 pm: The body of His Eminence will lie in state at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom (Aghia Sophia), Bayswater.
At 6:30 pm, the Trisagion Service will be chanted at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom

Wednesday, 4th December 2019

2:00 pm: The body of His Eminence will lie in state at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Wood Green until Thursday 5th December 8.00 am.
At 6:30 pm, the Trisagion Service will be chanted at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Wood Green.

Thursday, 5th December 2019

8.00 am – 10.00 am: Orthros and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Wood Green.
At 10:30 am – The Funeral Service, followed by interment at Hendon Cemetery.
Any and all donations and contributions in memory of the late Archbishop Gregorios should be sent to the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, 5 Craven Hill, London W2 3EN.

British Ambassador to Greece, Kate Smith, expressed the British Embassy’s condelences for the loss of Archbishop Gregorios.
