An official delegation of the Church of Rome visited the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to attend the feast of St. Andrew the First-Called, founder of the Church of Constantinople, on Monday, November 30, 2020.
The pontifical delegation led by Cardinal Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, and its members, Bishop Brian Farrell, secretary, and Fr. Andrea Palmieri, undersecretary, were received on Sunday by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, was also attended by Archim. Agathangelos Siskos, archivist of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and secretary of the Synodal Committee for the Dialogue with the Roman Catholic Church.
