Bishop Romanos (Hannata), the Patriarchal Vicar, received Hilde Haraldstad, Ambassador of Norway to Lebanon and Chargé d’Affaires to Syria, at the Patriarchal Residence in Damascus.
The meeting was attended by Bishop Moussa (Khoury), Patriarchal Assistant, and took place in a cordial and respectful atmosphere.
Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, including the humanitarian situation in Syria and ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue and cooperation. The visit highlighted the Norwegian Embassy’s continued engagement with local religious institutions and its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to stability and relief efforts in the region.
