The Holy Archdiocese of Australia announces that the Northern Territory Government has approved the request of the Parish of Saint Savvas of Kalymnos in Palmerston, Darwin, by providing a land area of 10,067 square meters.
This land will be utilized for the construction of a new church, two event halls, additional facilities, and a parking lot with space for 127 vehicles.
The Archdiocese extends its appreciation to the Northern Territory Government for its support of the Greek Orthodox community. Prayers are offered for the health and strength of Parish Priest Father Christos Tsoraklidis, the Church Committee members, and all parishioners, wishing success in their upcoming projects with God’s grace.
