On Wednesday, February 3, the newly appointed Consul-General of Greece in Victoria, Emmanuel Kakavelakis, visited the Archdiocesan offices for the District of Northcote as reported vema.com.au.
During his visit, he met the Archiepiscopal Vicar, Fr. Evmenios who then gave him a tour of the Holy Monastery of Axion Esti and in particular the book centre. The Consul-General also during his visit met with the district clergy and shared a meal together with them.
On behalf of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the Archiepiscopal Vicar, Fr. Evmenios, welcomed the Consul-General to Victoria and wished him fruitful years of ministry.
