During his visit, Ambassador Lewis was warmly received by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I at the Patriarchate in the Phanar district of Istanbul.
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, during which the two held a constructive discussion on matters of mutual interest.
