On Saturday, July 27, 2024, a Divine Liturgy took place on the Terrible Calvary, presided by Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth.
In accordance with the order of the Church, after the consecration of the Holy Gifts, Metropolitan Kyriakos of Nazareth ordained Mr. Stephen Nassar, a native of Nazareth, as Deacon.
The ordained man was acclaimed by the co-officiating priests, his relatives and fellow citizens, exclaiming “Worthy, Worthy!”
After the Divine Liturgy, the Patriarch of Jerusalem blessed the newly ordained Deacon at the Patriarchate, wishing him divine support for his future ministry as the priest of the Baane community in the Acre – Ptolemais region.
